We had a great time getting to know Eunice and Ke these last couple of months and couldn’t wait to cover their wedding.  They planned an intimate wedding with most of their friends and family traveling from out of town and we were honored to be part of their day.  Thomas headed to the Renaissance’s bridal suite to meet up with Eunice and her two closest friends.  Wendy from Just Browsing was the makeup artist and as always,  did an amazing job.  I headed over to their home, where I got to meet Ke and his family.  They planned a “first sight” at Wade Lagoon in University Circle.  We love capturing these moments, especially when the bride and groom light up like Eunice and Ke did!  It’s obvious how much they love each other.  The ceremony was held at The Old Stone Church in Downtown Cleveland.  After the ceremony, we did a walkabout around downtown with the bridal party to capture some fun shots.  The reception was held at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel in the Ambassador room….so elegant!  The gorgeous flowers were designed by Pieter Bouterse Studio and the cake was designed by Michael Angelo’s Bakery.  The entertainment was provided by The DJ Crew.

Ken and Jenny got married on Sweetest Day!  This past weekend Tom met Jenny and the girls at PJ’s Day Spa in Fairview Park, OH and then headed to her parent’s house to capture her getting into her wedding dress.  Her father seeing her for the first time was a pretty cool to witness.  Gisella met Ken at the church, St. Richard’s Church in North Olmsted, OH.  They wanted a “park like” scene for their creative session, so we headed to Grand Pacific Junction in Olmsted Falls after the “I do’s.”  This spot lends itself for some cool backgrounds and walking distance to Village Park with the covered bridge overlooking Plum Creek.  We headed to Springvale Golf Course & Ballroom for for the reception. Once we got there, we took advantage of the sunset and grabbed the shot of Jenny with fall trees in the background.  Inside, Chris from Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment gave the introductions and the party got started.  The flowers were designed by Marcia Lange of “Silk Essence”  and the cake  was designed by Elizabeth of  “Cakes of Elegance” – both gorgeous and perfect for Fall.  A shout out to the staff at Springvale, you guys did a great job!

Too Good to Be True

Well, I’m not sure where to start with yesterday’s wedding, there was so much to love!  From the gorgeous gown to the topper on the wedding cake, too good to be true just happened  -  Julie and Sean got married in Canton, OH at the Christ the Servant Parish at Our Lady of Peace Church.  The floral designer that they chose, Chris Schockling, did a superb job with the church and the reception which was held at the Raintree County Club.  I’ve never seen a runner stay put and unwrinkled until yesterday…..incredible design and attention to detail.  The ceremony looked and sounded beautiful! there were two singers, a violinist and a pianist and some good humor from Monsignor Gaetano – he gave the guests a few chuckles throughout the ceremony….loved it!  We had Lisa, of Lisa Sullivan Events, as the Day of Coordinator keeping the day as planned.  Julie & Sean also hired  Red Bicycle Media to film their entire event.    These guys are just too cool, their cinematography skills are awesome and working with them was a pleasure.  Watching their films  make me want to get married all over again!  (Yes Tom, they do! I put it in writing!!)

Julie and Sean chose to have their creative session at the McKinley monument.  First time there and it was a sight to see, 108 steps leading up to the marble domed structure.  I loved the door and the view…it was pretty cool.  It’s a great location and we had a great group to work with.  Once we got to Raintree CC, we got them out on the course for a gorgeous group shot on the bridge.  The reception was entertained by The Cutting Edge from Jerry Bruno Productions - great by the way!  While the band was on break,  Red Bicycle Media presented their same day edit to Julie and Sean and all their guests………Loved it!!

We love the moms that hire us and the daughters we get to spend the wedding day with.  We’ve had the pleasure of seeing a mom help her daughter’s wedding day come to fruition a number of times and each time is amazing.  This wedding was no exception with mom helping her daughter plan a wedding from Colorado, this wedding came together beautifully. Once we met Pam, we couldn’t wait to meet Elizabeth and Vincent……especially since they are foodies and wine & beer connoisseurs………definitely after our own hearts!  We knew this was going to be a beautiful event and we couldn’t wait to capture this wedding day.   We started off the day by by meeting the girls at Studio Blazon in Rocky River and then we headed off to capture the bride getting into her dress.  Elizabeth was a vision and couldn’t help capturing  gorgeous bridal portraits. Their ceremony was at St. Ladislas in Westlake.  After  the beautiful ceremony, we headed off to Wade Lagoon with the newlyweds and the bridal party.  Once we got there,  we couldn’t believe how many bridal parties were there…..we knew it was a popular location, but I think at one time, we counted ten bridal parties….talk about getting crowded!  We had to think a little outside of the box and I’m pretty sure we captured some beautiful moments.  The Glidden House was our next destination for the reception which was catered by the Spice of Life Catering and Radio Active from Jerry Bruno Productions kept the house rockin’

Loved capturing Josette and Craig’s wedding day!  We couldn’t wait to see this wedding day unfold.  You see, Josette’s mom, Ann, helped with all the arrangements since the couple lives out of town and she was so excited for her daughter to marry the love of her life!  Travel and destination was the theme for this wedding and with family and friends traveling from all over the states and as far as London the theme was perfect!  The morning started at their home and when we arrived, a full production was in gear from the girls getting their hair & makeup done – steaming the gorgeous bridal gown & veil -  to filling cups with rose petals.  Such a full house that welcomed us right in!  Once we captured Craig and Josette’s first sight, we headed off to the Lakewood Country Club for some bridal party and family pictures.  After the ceremony, we headed back to the country club to capture the cocktail hour.  The room and tables looked beautiful and the cupcake tower looked awesome from Main Street Cupcakes in Rocky River.  Yum!!  They had Scott from American Entertainment keeping the party going.. it’s great to see empty tables and a packed dance floor!  Check out how cute these two newlyweds are.

We recently had the privilege of covering Jerry and Catrina’s wedding in Akron, Ohio.  They’re an awesome couple we met last year and had a blast photographing their engagement session this past spring.  Catrina was simply beautiful on her wedding day…..gorgeous hair, makeup and what a gown…..absolutely stunning!   Their ceremony was held at St. Bernard-St. Mary’s Parish in Downtown Akron, OH. This beautiful church is a historic landmark and  with an Italian marble altar and life size statues, you can see why.  We shot their creative session in Cuyahoga Falls,  by Falls River Square and a few portraits at their Sheraton suite that overlooks the cascading falls and gorge of the Cuyahoga River.  Their family and friends cheered them on as the new Mr. & Mrs. at Our Lady of the Cedars/Maronite Banquet Center.

We met Justin and Jen back in September of last year, and we were so excited that they chose us for their wedding day.  We couldn’t wait for their E-session – which rocked by the way – and getting to know these two was a blast!  The day started with Tom at the Esbi International Salon in Brunswick, what a cool place!  And then back to her parents house to get ready with the girls.

Meanwhile, I was with Justin while he got ready and boys were looking good and ready to go!  The anticipation of their  “first sight” was building for all of us and it was time to find Jen.  Can I say awesome hot blue shoes?  Jen’s blue heels were covered in glitter!  And, she looked absolutely beautiful.  The girls were pretty in blue.

The “first sight” was perfect!  We love getting the “jitters” out of the way.  We had their creative session downtown so that they would have more memories to bring back to their new home in Columbus.  The bridal party was great to work with, heat and all, they rocked it in sweltering 90+ weather!  We headed back to Strongsville for the ceremony.  Family and friends filled the church and the party continued on at the Airport Marriott hotel.

We had “Rock The House” – DJ Alex and MC Nate – both kept the evening moving and the dance floor filled.  The cake was by Michael Angelo’s’ Bakery, which was, again, another beautiful creation!  The beautiful flowers and bouquets were by Country Side Florist.  The Marriott had a warm and friendly staff, and loved the lobby decor.  All in all, a beautiful wedding from start to finish.

Cleveland Public Library Wedding Photography

As a Cleveland  based wedding photographer, I’m so lucky to have a few of the coolest locations to photograph our creative sessions.  The Cleveland Public Library is no exception.  The gorgeous architecture of this building lends itself to some of the most beautiful photographs you’ll see.  Perfect location for a couple that would like elegant and sophisticated wedding photography.  If your wedding is in downtown Cleveland, this is also a great back up location for your creative session in case of inclement weather.  Just give the library a call and reserve a block of time!

Back in old Napoli, that’s amore! – Katherine and Roy’s Wedding Day

We’ve been waiting for this day for over a year and a half and had the best time getting to know Katherine & Roy.  From the start we knew this was going to be a great wedding, cool cars, family traditions, and even some fun entertainment.  We started off the day capturing both in Brunswick -Katherine and her girls at Creative Cuts, and Roy with the boy’s at their brother-in-law’s.  Once the vintage cars pulled up, we knew it was time to head to North Royalton’s Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church for the ceremony.  The church was a full house and filled with live music and much love for this couple.  Before the reception at Donauschwaben German American Cultural Center in Olmsted Falls. We stopped at Grand Pacific Junction for their creative session and had a blast with the bridal party and loved the bride and groom portraits.  And did we mention the cool vintage cars??!

Once we arrived at the hall, we met up with Kevin from Midnight Music who kept the evening going.  We saw another beautiful wedding cake from Michael Angelo’s Bakery and we can’t forget to mention the gorgeous bouquets from Kathy Wilhelmy Flowers, love the butterfly!  It was our first time at this hall and loved it! – lovely room, good food, and friendly staff – we hope to work there again.  The evening was lively with German dancing, Uncle Carl singing “That’s Amore” – to Roy proving to everyone that he is now an ex-Michigan State fan… O-H-I-O!
