Ken and Jenny got married on Sweetest Day!  This past weekend Tom met Jenny and the girls at PJ’s Day Spa in Fairview Park, OH and then headed to her parent’s house to capture her getting into her wedding dress.  Her father seeing her for the first time was a pretty cool to witness.  Gisella met Ken at the church, St. Richard’s Church in North Olmsted, OH.  They wanted a “park like” scene for their creative session, so we headed to Grand Pacific Junction in Olmsted Falls after the “I do’s.”  This spot lends itself for some cool backgrounds and walking distance to Village Park with the covered bridge overlooking Plum Creek.  We headed to Springvale Golf Course & Ballroom for for the reception. Once we got there, we took advantage of the sunset and grabbed the shot of Jenny with fall trees in the background.  Inside, Chris from Absolutely Unbelievable Entertainment gave the introductions and the party got started.  The flowers were designed by Marcia Lange of “Silk Essence”  and the cake  was designed by Elizabeth of  “Cakes of Elegance” – both gorgeous and perfect for Fall.  A shout out to the staff at Springvale, you guys did a great job!

We had a blast covering Jennifer and Matt’s wedding day yesterday.  This was the perfect fall day in Northwest Ohio, but Jen trumped it…….she was simply gorgeous. They had their ceremony at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church.  We love the old world churches we get to visit in Cleveland and this one’s architecture is magnificent.  The vast gothic style windows and dramatic arches lined the long isle way…….thank goodness this one was taken off the list to close.   Once they said the I do’s, we started taking some bridal portraits around the church and then headed downtown with the bridal party.  We had a fun group, but taking advantage of the the beautiful day, we grabbed the newlyweds and headed to one of favorite spots, Rocky River Park.  We love this location for our wedding and engagements shoots…..one of the most requested too!  Jen and Matt were great to work with.  Then off to the reception at Wagner’s Country Inn in Westlake, where Spencer Reynolds of Jerry Bruno Productions was ready to go with the introductions.  The cake designed by Create-A-Cake had an awesome topper….a DeLorean miniature! from Back to the Future…love it, so perfect for them since that’s the car Jen sat in while he proposed  ♥

Engagement sessions can be so much fun and Jenny and Ken’s session was definitely fun!  We started off by meeting them downtown around Public Square and had a great time with them just doing one of our walkabouts around Cleveland, Ohio…..with a little detour to Tri_C West.  Getting to know them while having a few laughs and talking about their upcoming wedding was a pleasure – and when we end up doing this with our couples, the results are always fantastic!  Jenny and Ken got comfortable in front of the camera just being themselves and that’s what we love.  They are primed and ready for their wedding photography and we can’t wait!

Cleveland Public Library Wedding Photography

As a Cleveland  based wedding photographer, I’m so lucky to have a few of the coolest locations to photograph our creative sessions.  The Cleveland Public Library is no exception.  The gorgeous architecture of this building lends itself to some of the most beautiful photographs you’ll see.  Perfect location for a couple that would like elegant and sophisticated wedding photography.  If your wedding is in downtown Cleveland, this is also a great back up location for your creative session in case of inclement weather.  Just give the library a call and reserve a block of time!
